A MAN has been arrested and a vehicle seized in connection with burglary in a Dorset village.
Police were called to reports of a break-in at a garage in Moor Critchel at around 3.30am on Tuesday, March 12.
A ladder, Stihl jet wash, battery and charger pack, Stihl hedge trimmer and a mini Shetland Hitec Harness and Liverpool Driving bit marked with the post code of the address were stolen after the lock of the property was broken, police said.
Dorset Police’s Rural Crime Team said a man had since been arrested on suspicion of burglary and remained in custody.
Meanwhile, a vehicle suspected to have been used in crime has also been seized by police.
“The vehicle was located in Poole,” a spokesperson said.
People in the Moor Critchel area are being urged to check CCTV.
“We are particularly interested in any sightings of a white car-derived van which is believed to have been in the area with multiple occupants,” the spokesperson added.
