Police hunt car that failed to stop for officers in Wimborne

POLICE are hunting the driver of a vehicle that failed to stop for officers in Wimborne.

At around 3.55pm on Monday, November 6, officers tried to pull over a vehicle in Stone Lane.

It is reported the car – a silver Subaru Forrester – did not stop and drove off onto the B3078.

Police Sergeant Natalie Skinner, of the Dorset Police Rural Crime Team, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed what happened, or the manner of the driving of the Subaru, to please get in touch.

“Also, I would like to hear from any motorists who will have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
