POLICE have made three arrests as part of a probe into an alleged assault in Wimborne.
The incident happened in the early hours of December 16 last year, when a man in his 40s was assaulted by a group of people, suffering a broken jaw.
After an investigation into the alleged attack, which happened in the High Street, police have made three arrests.
“Following enquiries by detectives from Dorset County CID, an 18-year-old man from Yeovil and two men – aged 18 and 21 – from the Blandford area were arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm,” a Dorset Police spokesperson said.
“All three have been released under investigation as enquiries continue.”
