WIMBORNE Minster was lit up in pink at the weekend to mark breast cancer awareness month.
Representatives of Wimborne Minster Town Council attended an event at the minster, alongside a group of breast cancer survivors from the Hengistbury Head Dragon Boat Team, aimed at raising awareness of breast cancer.
Breast cancer awareness month takes place every October.

A spokesperson said: “On Saturday afternoon (October 12), the town mayor councillor Jeff Hart, and mayoress Mrs. Barbara Hart, attended an event aimed at raising awareness for breast cancer.
“They were joined by a group of breast cancer survivors from the Hengistbury Head Dragon Boat Team.
“To mark the occasion, the minster was illuminated in pink, a colour commonly associated with breast cancer awareness.”
