A LARGE amount of cocaine and cash was seized by police yesterday (March 11) as part of an investigation into the supply of Class A drugs.
Five warrants were carried out in the Christchurch, Bournemouth and Poole areas of the county yesterday evening, as well as a property in Southampton.
A 30-year-old man was arrested at a property in Christchurch on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A, with between 15 and 20kg of cocaine seized.
A 20-year-old man was arrested nearby for the same offence.

At a separate warrant in the Springbourne area of Bournemouth, approximately £60k cash and another kilo of cocaine were found.
Items associated with drug dealing, including cutting agent, wrappings, and other paperwork were also recovered from the other addresses, as well as four vehicles that will be searched.
DCI Adam Smith from the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit (SWROCU) which ran the investigation said: “This is a significant investigation into a suspected organised crime group involved in the large-scale supply of cocaine across the county and beyond.
“Work is ongoing to search the properties and recover all potential evidence.
“Our thanks to the officers from Dorset Police who continue to support SWROCU in furthering the investigation.”
