Make a difference to people’s lives by taking part in the fun ‘star jumping’ challenge for Sexual Trauma and Recovery Services (STARS Dorset).
Can you star jump for one minute, or could you manage five?
STARS Dorset is asking anyone and everyone across Dorset to have a go and see how many star jumps they can do in a minute or, for the super fit, five minutes on Friday, May 27.
All the charity asks is that each person who takes part donates £3. Recruit friends, family and colleagues to jump with you or to support you by donating.
STARS Dorset provides support for children and adults who have experienced domestic abuse, sexual assault and childhood sexual trauma.
The STARS Dorset vision is to create a world free from abuse.
Their work includes one to one therapy and support, group work and awareness raising.
By Star Jumping for STARS you will be raising vital funds to help support people across Dorset. For further information about the charity head to their website at starsdorset.org.
To donate £3 you can either
text STARSDORSET to
70085 (this costs £3 plus a standard rate message) or set up a Facebook Fundraiser Here you can share with friends and family so they can take part too!
You can also join the fun on the day by posting photos or videos to social media, make sure to tag #starjumpforSTARS
