“Significant fire” involving unattended dehumidifier at Poole home

FIRE crews were called to a Poole home following a blaze involving an unattended dehumidifier.

Crews from Poole and Westbourne were called to a property in Pascoe Close just after 7.30am on Tuesday (July 1).

Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue said there was significant fire and smoke damage to the property.

“Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished a fire involving a dehumidifier in a property while the occupiers were out and ventilated to clear the smoke,” a spokesperson said.
