Santa’s Fire Sleigh returning to Poole and Canford Heath next week

SANTA’S fire sleigh will once again be hitting the streets of Poole and Canford Heath to bring festive cheer and raise charity funds.

Firefighters from Poole and Hamworthy are bringing the sleigh back, raising money for two charities.

On Monday (December 18), the fire sleigh will be visiting the Waterloo Estate in Poole, starting at 5.45pm, before moving on to Verity Crescent, in Canford Heath, at 7pm.

Raising money for The Firefighters Charity and Forest Holme Hospice, Santa will be supported by on-call firefighters from both Poole and Hamworthy fire stations.

Alex Meade, on-call section commander for Poole, said: “We are delighted to be back this Christmas to take Santa through our local neighbourhoods again this year.

“It gives us a great opportunity to engage with our community, spread some festive cheer, raise some money for two great causes, and deliver our fire safety messages.”
