A FRESH image has been released as police continue the search for missing Wimborne man, Neil Allen.
The 41-year-old was reported missing having last been seen on the evening of Tuesday, February 13.
Following further enquiries, police say they believe he visited an address in Barnes Crescent before going to the Spar in Gordon Road at around 8.50pm, which was captured on CCTV.
Neil was then seen on Leigh Road near Brook Road roughly between 9.30pm and 10pm.
He is described as 5ft 10inches tall, with long brown hair and a full beard.
Chief Inspector David Parr, of Dorset Police, said: “We have now obtained a better-quality CCTV image of Neil from the Spar store in Gordon Road, showing what clothing he was wearing at the time.
“This image provides an up-to-date visual of Neil and I hope that by releasing it, we may be able to jog someone’s memory who might have seen him since the evening of Tuesday, February 13.
“Our land and water searches have been continuing and we would like to reiterate our thanks to volunteers and members of the public for their assistance.
“Due to the current weather and water conditions, we need to warn anyone checking the area to please not put yourself in danger. The water levels are dangerously high and river banks may not be seen or stable. Please be reassured that we have specialist search professionals assisting our activity in the area, which will continue over the coming days.
“We are doing all we can to try and find Neil and would ask anyone with information about his whereabouts, no matter how small it may seem, to please come forward.
“Neil – if you see this appeal, please get in touch with us or your family. We all want to hear from you and make sure that you are safe and well.”
Anyone with information or knowledge as to Neil’s whereabouts should contact Dorset Police via www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101.
