Police appeal after mobile phone stolen in Ringwood

POLICE have issued an image of someone they want to speak to in connection with a theft of a mobile phone in Ringwood.

A man, who was responding to a Facebook advert concerning the sale of an iPhone, reportedly walked away with the phone without paying for it from a property on Queensway between 12.40pm and 12.45pm on Wednesday, February 19.

The man people want to identify is described as black, in his 30s, approximately 5ft 10 and wearing a black puffer jacket, grey Nike trainers and Adidas tracksuit bottoms.

A Hampshire Police spokesperson said: “We believe the man in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.

“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam, or doorbell camera footage that could aid our investigation, please contact us.”
