Missing Neil Allen spotted in Wimborne shop, police believe

MISSING Wimborne man Neil Allen has been seen, police believe.

Officers are urging the 41-year-old to contact his family after they believe he was caught on CCTV at a shop in recent days.

The sighting was at 8.18pm on Monday, February 26, at the One Stop in Dales Drive near the junction with Canford Bottom, Wimborne.

Police said previous enquiries indicated he visited an address in Barnes Crescent prior to going to the Spar store, in Gordon Road, at around 8.50pm on Tuesday, February 13.

Neil was then seen on Leigh Road, near Brook Road, between 9.30pm and 10pm. He is described as 5ft 10inches tall, with long brown hair and a full beard.

Chief Inspector David Parr, of Dorset Police, said: “Our enquiries lead us to believe that Neil is likely staying in the Wimborne local area.

“Neil was last seen wearing a blue and green Peter Storm hooded raincoat, dark bottoms and boots.

“Neil has been missing since Tuesday, February 13, and his family, friends and the local community are very worried for him.

“I am therefore also repeating my appeal to Neil – if you see this to please make contact with your friends or family to reassure everyone that you are safe and well.”
