Man wanted after almost £300 worth of alcohol stolen from Ringwood Waitrose

POLICE have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to following the alleged theft of hundreds of pounds of alcohol in Ringwood.

Hampshire Police say £286 worth of alcohol was stolen from the Waitrose at The Furlong between 1.55pm and 2.10pm on Friday, March 7.

The man police would like to speak to in connection with the theft is described as white, around 30 years old, 5ft 10 tall, with a scar on the left side of his face, and wearing glasses, a blue baseball cap, a blue jacket and a red hooded top.

A police spokesperson said: “We believe the man in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.

“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”
