Man injured after attack in Alderholt street

A MAN suffered facial injuries after being attacked in the street.

The incident unfolded in Hayters Way, Alderholt, at around 7.30pm in Sunday, November 5.

“It is reported that the victim – a man aged in his 20s – was approached by two men and assaulted,” a Dorset Police spokesperson said.

“The men were both wearing dark clothing and got out of a small grey Peugeot 208 before the incident.”

The victim sustained injuries to his face that did not require medical treatment, they added.

PC Ashlea Gale, of East Dorset police, said: “We have now received a full account from the victim and I am carrying out enquiries into this incident.

“I understand there were other people in the area at the time and I would ask anyone who saw what happened and has not already spoken to police to please get in touch.”
