Knife robbers stole man’s medication in Poole park incident

ROBBERS threatened a man with a knife in a Poole park before making off with medication.

Two men approached the victim as he walked through Branksome Recreation Ground, in the area of Wharfdale Road, at around midnight on Friday, October 20.

They threatened the man, in his 40s, and demanded money from him, before one of the men produced a knife from his pocket.

The suspects stole some of the victim’s medication before leaving the scene.

The offenders are both described as white and aged in their 30s. One of them was described as tall with black hair and wearing a white T-shirt. The second man had blond hair and was wearing a heavy metal rock band T-shirt.

PC Louis Allen, of Poole police, said: “I am carrying out enquiries into this incident and would ask anyone who was in the area and saw what happened to please come forward.

“I am keen to hear from anyone in the vicinity who may have captured anything of relevance on either dashcam, home CCTV or doorbell camera footage.”
