The AA’s monthly fuel price comparison shows that unleaded prices have levelled, from 164.7 p/litre last month to 164.7 p/litre now.
Diesel prices have risen from 187.1 p/litre to 189.1 p/litre,
and the price difference between diesel and unleaded has grown to 24.4 p/litre.
National and Regional
Petrol
Highest – The South East, Eastern England and East Midlands have recorded the highest price for unleaded at 165.6 p/litre.
Lowest – Northern Ireland has recorded the lowest price for unleaded at 161.6 p/litre.
Diesel
Highest – The South East has recorded the highest diesel price at 190.3 p/litre.
Lowest – Northern Ireland has the cheapest diesel at 185.8 p/litre.
Supermarkets
Supermarket prices for unleaded now average 162.8 p/litre. The gap between supermarket prices and the UK average for unleaded has shrunk to 1.9 p/litre.
