More than 250 children and adults came together to enjoy Wimborne Food Bank’s first Family Fun Day on the Wimborne Rugby Club pitch.
The pitch was abuzz with activity as families enjoyed playing large outdoor games and face painting, food, ice-cream and competitions.

Children’s entertainer Krazy Kev captivated the children with his antics. The Creature Teacher’s brought lots of creepy crawlies for children to see close-up including reptiles and barn owls.

The event was opened by the Town Crier and the Mayor Carol Butter also attended the event to find out more about the vital community work the food bank does.
Wimborne Food Bank supports on average 30 local families a week with food as well as offering financial and money debt advice. It also helps fund essential home appliances such as fridges and cookers.
