A WOMAN from Ferndown will be trekking across Stonehenge in Wiltshire this May to raise much-needed funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Leanne Morgan set herself the challenge in light of her mother, Patricia, being diagnosed with the disease more than two years ago.

Leanne’s challenge, part of Alzheimer’s Society’s fundraising ‘trek’ events, will see her travel through woodlands while enjoying the views of the world-famous Stonehenge on May 10.
She said: “The last two years have been tough.
“Everyday [my mother] will deteriorate a little bit more. We can’t have normal conversations with her and she gets very angry.
“It’s heart-breaking. Please donate what you can to help my mum and other people’s mums.”
Leanne has smashed her original target of £500, raising £675 so far.
