CCTV appeal after break-in at recycling centre in Blandford

BURGLARS broke into the site office at Dorset recycling centre.

Police were called to a break-in at the facility, in Shaftesbury Lane, Blandford.

A spokesperson said at around 12.20am on Saturday, November 25, entry was gained to the site, and that officers found damage to the site office door.

At this time, it is not believed anything was stolen, they added.

PC Edward Lewis, of Dorset Police, said: “We have been investigating this burglary and have obtained CCTV images of a man we would like to identify as part of our enquiries.

“I appreciate his face cannot be clearly seen but it may be someone is able to recognise him from his general build and clothing. I would urge anyone with information regarding his identity to please get in touch.”
