CCTV appeal after alcohol theft and assault claims at Ringwood service station

POLICE are keen to trace this man in connection with an alleged assault at a Ringwood service station.

The incident unfolded at Moortown Service Station, in Christchurch Road, at between 5.15pm and 5.30pm on Saturday, November 16, police said.

Officers said it involved the alleged theft of alcohol, as well as an assault on a member of staff.

“We believe the man in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us,” a Hampshire Police spokesperson said.

“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”

Anyone who recognises the man, or has information regarding the incident, should contact police on 101, quoting incident number 44240500580. They can also contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
