POLICE seized a car that was reportedly driven through several fields as well as pitches at a football club in Holt.
Officers from the Dorset Police Rural Crime Team seized a Land Rover Discovery that had been abandoned in a ditch on Friday (October 24).
They said the vehicle reportedly damaged crops after it was driven through fields in Gaunts Common as well as it being seen driven on the pitches at Holt Football Club, causing more damage.

A spokesperson for the force said: “We understand the impact this has had on the local community and would like to reassure residents that the owner of the vehicle has come forward and is assisting officers with the investigation.”
