Missing Stephen Wells, 42, from Branksome is found

UPDATE: Dorset Police has confirmed Stephen Wells has been found, following the appeal.

“We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal,” a spokesperson said.

STEPHEN Wells – from Branksome – has been missing since Sunday (September 29) and police are appealing for help to trace him.

Dorset Police said the 42-year-old was last seen at around 4pm in Branksome and they are “concerned for his welfare”.

Stephen is described as 5ft 10 inches tall and of medium build with short dark brown hair and stubble. He has tattoos of dots on his knuckles and was last seen wearing black jogging bottoms, a black Puffa-style jacket and trainers.

Inspector David Parr, of Dorset Police, said: “Stephen has not been seen for four days now and has made no contact with his family in that time.

“We are concerned for his welfare, and I would ask anyone with information as to his whereabouts to please contact us.

“We believe he may be in the Westbourne or Bournemouth town centre areas.

“I would also ask Stephen if you see this appeal to please make contact with us or your loved ones and let us know where you are. We all just want to make sure that you are all right.”
