AN ABANDONED car was found “well alight” early on Sunday morning (March 9) in West Parley.
Dorset & Wiltshire Fire & Rescue were called to the A347 at 5.30am after receiving reports that an abandoned car was spotted on fire.
“One crew from Redhill Park attended and two breathing apparatus wearers used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire,” a spokesperson said.
“Our stop was at 5.59am and the police were informed.”
