POLICE have arrested two people – including a 13-year-old boy – in connection with an assault outside a Wimborne shop.
The alleged attack happened outside the Co-op store in Crown Mead at around 6.40pm on Monday (February 5), leaving a man in his 40s with facial injuries requiring hospital treatment.
Following enquiries, Dorset Police said a 13-year-old boy from Wimborne and an 18-year-old man of no fixed abode were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
They have both been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
